Team & Role Overview

Our Operations & Finance team is responsible for building the financial infrastructure, supply chain models, and capital allocation frameworks that scale humanoid autonomy. We are looking for a Finance Manager - Operations to design, optimize, and advance the financial models, cost structures, and operational strategies that drive the manufacturing and deployment of our embodied systems.

This role focuses on developing advanced financial forecasting, hardware unit economics (COGS), and cross-functional budgeting across R&D, supply chain, and production—directly impacting the scalability of robot intelligence and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling & Architecture: Design and develop robust financial models for forecasting, capital allocation, and operational scale across hardware, software, and infrastructure.

• Unit Economics & COGS Optimization: Build structured models to track and optimize hardware unit economics, manufacturing dynamics, and global supply chain cost efficiencies.

• Operational Integration: Advance cross-functional financial planning, ensuring tight alignment between hardware engineering, AI research, and manufacturing pipelines.

• Capital Capability & Forecasting: Improve financial forecasting accuracy in areas such as high-compute R&D, hardware prototyping, and long-horizon scaling costs.

• Lifecycle Management: Work across the entire corporate lifecycle, from initial budget research and prototyping to scale deployment and vendor negotiation.

• Collaborative Scaling: Collaborate closely with supply chain, hardware engineering, compute infrastructure, and executive teams to integrate financial guardrails into the full operational stack.

• Analytical Rigor: Design experiments, variance analysis, and internal evaluation frameworks to understand financial performance and guide strategic iteration.

• Paradigm Development: Contribute to the development of new financial and operational paradigms tailored specifically to frontier hardware and embodied AI markets.

Requirements

• Advanced Financial Experience: Experience designing, training, and executing complex corporate financial models for high-growth tech, hardware, or deep-tech industries.

• Modern Operations Understanding: Strong understanding of modern manufacturing operations, supply chain logistics, and CapEx/OpEx cost structures.

• Performance Innovation: Experience improving financial and operational performance through strategic cost innovation, data analysis, and internal experimentation.

• Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in advanced financial modeling software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools (e.g., advanced Excel, SQL, or financial analytics platforms).

• Experimental Rigor: Strong financial rigor, high attention to detail, and the ability to iterate quickly on financial designs under evolving market conditions.

• Corporate Engineering Skills: Solid organizational engineering skills with the ability to build reliable, repeatable, and maintainable financial tracking systems.

• Autonomy & Ambiguity: Ability to operate independently and drive ambiguous, high-impact operational and financial problems to resolution.

Bonus Qualifications

• Deep Tech / Robotics Background: Experience working within multimodal hardware-software environments (robotics, aerospace, automotive, or semiconductor industries).

• Scale Operations Experience: Background in hardware unit economics optimization, global vendor management, or structured manufacturing procurement.

• Frontier Ecosystem Familiarity: Experience working at fast-scaled frontier technology companies, hyper-growth startups, or high-capital R&D environments.

• Compute Infrastructure Analytics: Familiarity with data center economics, cloud/hardware infrastructure scaling, or machine learning compute cost modeling.

• Large-Scale Financing: Experience with large-scale capital raises, complex asset financing, or international entity structures.
